I ordered worms for my students to explore. It is hard to find worms in Brooklyn, NY! We are learning about living things, plants and habitats. The worms were delivered quickly and alive! We have shared the worms among 3 classrooms. The kids are enjoying watching them and feeding them vegetable scraps.
Thanks rainbow worms! |

The worms arrived on time, all in great condition. I put them in their new home the next day and they are thriving. I'm surprised at how fast they are multiplying! |

I got them fast. Couple handfuls were dead. But it may be a bit of the mail carriers falt. I never got to sign for them she never walked up to the door, put them in a spot i wouldnt have found them had i not seen her do it. It was 38 out so i grabbed them up fast. It looked like someone had punched the box! Letting in more cold air.Its been over a week since i got them, some survived an are doin good.Id like to give them another chance sometime. |

Great Buy! I ordered one pound of worms and was surprised how small amount was. I suggest anyone alse to go for two pounds or more. After few months they have grown quite a bit and are reproducing which lead me to believe that I got them realy young and that is why amount seemed small. Everyone is surprised that they are with us in living area and there is no foul smell of any kind. They do not eat amount of food scrap as I hoped they would, but I am very happy about the purchase. |

They arrived very fast when the high was 40 degrees F. When they arrived they were a bit chilled but seemed alright. They took to my bin by the next day. I did receive quite a bit of juveniles but in the 2+ weeks so far they have been maturing well thus far.
I also am very pleased the truth that I read that the worms don't stink. I have my bin in my kitchen under my table and no smell whatsoever. Thanks again for helping me maintain fertilizer production through the winter moonths. |

The worms arrived in good condition and they are doing well. I order from another company in the past and for whatever reason these worms seem more plentiful and more active. I did have a little bit of a wait but the people at Rainbow worms were very communicative and helpful. Thanks a lot. |

I received the shipment in good time but was disappointed in the small size of the worms. I had thought they would have been bigger. They seem to be eating ok and everything else is fine. |

The Red Wigglers arrived in fine shape ready to start making compost. I was worried about the trip from California but they were packed very well and arrived here early Friday. I would order from Rainbow worms again if I needed to get any more worms for whatever reason. |

I was very happy with my purchase and the red worms are munching away at my garbage as I type. The only thing I would change is... In you instruction you say not to feed the worms for a week... Well I didn't feed them for a couple days and then realized that they were trying to escape there tote. So I fed them and haven't had any problems with them trying to get away again. So maybe give them a day to acclimate and then feed them.

As another reviewer noted, there is an apprehension when receiving anything alive shipped across the country. Our worms arrived shell-shocked, but alive. |

I received my worms several weeks ago and as we speak they are doggedly driving forth the decomposition of my coffee grounds, banana peels and other kitchen scraps. These healthy worms have already begun producing cocoons in my vermicomposter. Way to go uhh...fellas? Ladies? What do you call hermaphroditic organisms? Anyway, these are some good worms. |

I will admit that I have been consistently disappointed. I ordered a pound of worms in February and then in March. Although, the deliveries were very timely, there did not seem to be too many relatively "mature" worms and a week later those few visible ones were very weak or no longer there. I have been composting with worms for the past several years and used to buy them online from a place in Fresno with few issues. I opted for this company only because they were a few dollars cheaper. |

We received our reg wigglers in the mail. I was concerned because they were traveling from the West coast to the East Coast. They were very much alive and wiggling when we received them. After several weeks of settling in, they are already adding new worms to the population. My boys love them, even if they did not compost, they would be worth it. I would definately puchase from Rainbow Worms again! |

We bought one pound from Rainbow, and 2 pounds somewhere else, and the quality difference was substantial. The rainbow worms were much more active and healthy looking. It was also a full pound of worms, where the other was about 12 oz total with alot of soil. We will definitely buy all future worms from rainbow. |

I ordered my worms on Sunday and Bob himself delivered them Monday morning! I put the sealed box of worms on my dinning room table and when I got to them several hours later I found that 5 or 6 worms had already escaped to the living room. Those are some lively worms! Excellent, responsive service and a great product! |
