VermiHut Worm Compost Bins

Descriptions:

The stackable VermiHut worm compost bin design allows food scrap to be put into the bottom tray with compost worms and bedding.  As the worms finish digesting, they will migrate upward into the tray above, leaving rich castings behind.   Therefore, the VermiHut worm compost bin can automatically separate worms and worm castings to save hassle during worm casting harvest.  The stacking tray feature allows users to add up to seven trays to meet their growing compost demands. 

The unit is very ease to assemble.  The system is odorless and can be used in door; the special lid design allows it used outdoor, too.  This lid is designed to ventilate air and moisture so that the compost environment is comfortable for worms.  The round corners design reinforces the strength of the products and also allows better air circulation.  The lid universally fits into the existing trays in the worm composter market.  Out of all kinds of worm composters in the market, the VermiHut is the most efficient, producing the most compost at the least foot-print.

The built-in liquid tray collects liquid from organic waste decompose, and the liquid is rich in nutrient and can be used as fertilizer.  The spigot design makes it easy to collect the liquid.

In full operation, a 5 tray VermiHut system can house approximately 10,000 to 12,000 worms (10 lb), and can consume 4~5 pounds of food scrap a day.

Vermiculture accessories such as compost thermometers, claw, pH meter, moisture meters are available for system optimization.  Kitchen scrap bucket, and worm tea bucket are also available.
