Vermihut
The VermiHut used vertically stackable, perforated trays to take advantage of the instinctual ability of redworms to constantly eat upwards. As worms finishing digesting in one tray, they will migrate into the trays above, leaving behind rich castings for easy harvesting. The system is designed to allow for adequate air circulation, which helps maintain aerobic conditions. Odorless unit may be placed indoors or outside in a full shade area. Liquid catchment level collects effluent produced from the natural breakdown of food scraps. Made in China from recycled materials. |
